Abstract
The publication presents a series of photocopies of documents from the personal file of Alexey Losev (1893– 1988) — the great Russian thinker, Full Professor of Moscow Conservatory. Due to ideological reasons Losev contribution to the tradition of teaching aesthetics was not in his lifetime appreciated. In the preface to the publication one can find the brief inventory of the Losev’s personal file and also some information about the location of Losev’s course in the teaching of the Conservatory and sources of Losev’s course. One can see in Losev’s experience a direct relationship between his teaching at the Conservatory (1922–1929) and his studies in GAKhN (State Academy of Arts, 1921–1930).
