This paper is devoted to the problems of professional ear training within today’s music practice, actual educational contexts, and sociocultural challenges of the new century. Author’s methodological ways to increase an efficiency of ear training education are proposed. Among them is a dynamic integration of traditions and innovations in melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic aural training. Special attention to some new aspects of ear training, such as creation of synesthetic interrelations in music perception for the adaptive psychic abilities, has been focused on. A great variety of modern digital facilities to the purpose of ear training has been disclosed.
