Pavel G. Serbin

Artistic director of the Pratum Integrum Orchestra, solo cellist of the Hofcapella Munchen Orchestra (Bavaria). He has performed in numerous early music ensembles. From 2004 to 2017, he taught baroque cello, early chamber ensemble and quartet at the Department of Historical and Contemporary Performing Arts at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. His main research interests are history of Russian early music and biographies of Russian musicians of the pre-Glinkian era. He has edited and published a number of academic editions of Russian early orchestral, keyboard and cello music, including J. W. Hässler’s Piano Concerto op. 50 (Moscow Conservatory Press, 2013).
