Biography
Doctor of Fine Arts (1998, Tbilisi, Georgia). Associate Professor in musicology at the Paris-Sorbonne University, Department of Musicology and Music. Member of the French Society of Musicology and of the French Society of Musical Analysis. Author of numerous articles on the musical culture of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Her topics of research include a study of the special features of musical thought and composition in this music, issues of paleography and historical aspects of the Franco-Flemish school as well as the search for philosophical, cultural and aesthetic concepts, in particular varietas and identity.
