The authors of the article raise the most important issues of modern education in the field culture and art education. Growing practical training of students is increasing. Special attention is paid to the analysis of problems of musician training, especially orchestral performers. The presentations of the participants of the “Petersburg Cultural Forum” were considered, propose strategies to address training challenges in culture and art education.
The authors note the importance of training teachers of musical and theoretical disciplines to increase the level of training of graduates.
