Daniil R. Petrov

Born in  Kazan in  1973. Graduated from the Music Theory and History Department, the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory  (1996). Ph.  D.  thesis  «Gustav Mahler  and  the  “Nineteenth  Century”. Formation  of  the  Artist»  (1999;  scientific advisor Prof.  I.A.Barsova). Teaches at  the  History  of  Russian  Music  Subdepartment, the Department of Music Theory and History, the Moscow Conservatory (since  1999). Associate Professor (since  2003).
