Azamat D. Khasanshin

Born in 1971 in Kazan (USSR). In 1995 graduated with honors from the Department of Composition of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Full Prof. Albert S. Lehman). He also studied with Full Prof. A. S. Lehman as an assistant-trainee from 1995 to 1997. After postgraduate studies in 2006 in Novosibirsk State Conservatory defended his Ph. D. thesis “Style Model in Musical Perception: Historical Perspective and Theoretical Reconstruction” (scientific advisors— Full Prof. Vsevolod V. Zaderatsky and Full Prof. Semyon Kh. Rappoport). In 2015 completed his studies at the Russian Gnessins Academy of Music (Moscow) as opera and symphony conductor (class of Full Prof. Vladimir P. Ziva). Since 2000 has been teaching at Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts. Associate Professor of the Pop and Jazz Performance Subdepartment.
