Elena E. Potyarkina

Born in  Moscow. Graduated from the Music Theory and Composition Department, the Academic Music College at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory  (2000), the Music Theory  and  History Department  (2005) and then the postgraduate course  (2008), the Moscow Conservatory. Ph.D. thesis K. D. Balmont and the Russian Music at the Turn of the 19^th to 20^th Century (scientific advisor Prof. I A Skvortsova, 2010). Since 2011 teaches at the History of Russian Music Subdepartment, the Moscow Conservatory, since 2020 — associate professor.
