State Conservatory, and in 2014 became a student of the Piano Department at Moscow Conservatory. His teachers were Assoc. Prof. Ekaterina A. Ledeneva (piano class), Full Prof. Nina I. Kulikova (accompaniment class), Full Prof. Vladimir M. Skanavi (chamber ensemble). In 2019, Luo Xinjie graduated with honors from the conservatory and began his post-graduate studies under Assoc. Prof. Ekaterina A. Ledeneva. In 2021 he defended his graduate qualification work “Chinese Folk Culture in the Instrumental Works by Tan Dun of the American Period 1999–2015” (scientific advisor — Full Prof. Valentina N. Kholopova).
Luo Xinjie conducts concert activities in Russia and abroad. He is a laureate of regional and international competitions, including the 1st prize at the XIII International Competition of Performing Musicians and Composers “Romanticism: Origins and Horizons” in memory of E. F. Gnesina in Moscow. At present he is a Ph.D. student at Moscow Conservatory, working at his thesis devoted to Tan Dun’s instrumental music (scientific advisor — Full Prof. V. N. Kholopova).
