Irina E. Sirotkina

Leading Researcher of Sergey Vavilov Institute of the History of Natural Science. Ph.D. on psychology (Lomonosov Moscow State University) and on social science (The University of Manchester). The area of her scientific interests is the junction of the history of science and culture. She is the author of multiple books and articles in the Russian, English, and French languages. Her latest monograph is Free Movement and Plastic Dance in Russia (Moscow, 2012). It is devoted to the origins of the new dance in our country in the first third of the 20^th century.
