Anna V. Bulycheva


Born in St. Petersburg. In 1993 graduated from St. Petersburg State Conservatory. In 1999 defended Ph. D. thesis “Style and Genre of Jean-Baptiste Lully’s Operas” (scientific advisor— Valentina Shirokova). In 1992–2000 — editor and interpreter of “The Mariinsky Theatre” newspaper. In 2001–2003 — Head of the Literary Department of The Bolshoi Theatre. From 2003 — Assistant to the Artistic Director of “Helikon-Opera”. In 2004–2009 — Senior Research Fellow of the State Institute for Art Studies. From 2003 she has been teaching at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
