Tatyana S. Kyuregyan

Graduated from the Department of Music History and Theory, Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (1975), and then completed her post-graduate studies there (1979). Ph. D. thesis: The Evolution of the Principles of Musical Form in the Works of Soviet Composers of the 1950s–70s (scientific advisor — Full Prof. Yu. N. Kholopov, 1982). Doctor of Fine Arts; thesis: The Form in the Music of the 17th–20th Centuries (1999). Full Professor at the Music Theory Subdepartment, Moscow State Conservatory. She holds a special course of lectures on musical form and collaborates in courses on musical-theoretical systems and on theory of modern composition. Member of the Russian Composers’ Union.
